I want to add to my lens collection and wanted to look into primes. I was thinking about fast primes in the 1) wide, 2) standard, and 3) telephoto ranges. Since I'm not terribly familiar with prime lenses, I wanted to get OTAP's input on some good choices.

I shoot mostly cityscape and people but I also want to get more into shooting sports. All suggestions are welcome!

    So.... GO!

    That is all.

If I had the 400 F2.8 I probably would like that too

Am I looking at the wrong lens if I keep seeing the 35/2 in the $250-300 range? If so, I will pick that up ASAP. That's a good price for a lens everyone seems to like a lot.
