What are you guys taking for JOINTS and does it work?

    Out of nowhere my knees are starting to hurt when I do squats. I figure it's probably a good idea to start taking something to remedy the pain and to ensure that I don't have other problems later down the line.

    What do you guys take for joint pain / health and how good of a job does it do for you?

    Hyaluronic acid is supposedly really good for knee pain.
    Currently only taking Orange Triad and fishoil with baby aspirin for my joints.

    I was running into the same problem and started incorporating some of the things found in the "18 tips for Bulletproof Knees" article by Mike Robertson. Search for it on google. My knee pain is pretty much gone/greatly reduced.

    The biggest things I incorporated were:
    1) Increased fish oil intake (I get around 15-20g a day...cheap costco brand)
    2) I do a lot more single leg work like split squats and king deadlifts.
    3) Do more hamstring work than quad work
    4) Increase ankle and hip mobility
    5) Foam roller work
    6) Stretching of quads and calves

    I take these before knee workouts, ie squats, running, lacrosse games


    and this everyday

    fish oil is something you have to take consistently for months to reap the benefits

    Anyway supplements, NSAIDs, liniments, ice, etc. are all just bandaids.

    fishoil, glucosamine and recently just started some collagen. the collagen probably does nothing for my joints but whatever.

    i do. I should have said I just add some extra in with the aspirin on those specific days.

    Hyaluronic acid and weekly adjustments from a Chiropractor. I used to have shitty knees but I feel 10 years younger now. Still running.

    I just started having rc pain. Plus my achilles have been sore daily from doin 5k runs @ 230 lbs.

    I bought some no name joint support complex (glucosamine, chondroitin, shark cartillage etc...) and I'm trying out the SuperCissus from USP Labs. Does anyone have any good experience w/ this stuff?
