Maybe we can possibly trade services or at least knowledge on a subject.

I can help out with actual programming knowledge/advice. My strong suit is .NET & SQL Server/Access/MySql. Also, classic ASP for anyone that still does it :o (I do)

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. My 9-5 is software so I'm pretty strong with it.

My weak point is advertising/money making, etc.

I'm not good at programming I can tell you that haha.

I know the cookie cutter stuff pretty well, like wordpress, joomla, vbulletin, phpbb, wiki... as far as installing, setting up for SEO, editing basic php, etc...

Wordpress is the fastest easiest way to get a good blog up and start pulling in adsense money so thats what I've been concentrating on lately.

I'm also pretty proficient in photoshop, illustrator, and most of the graphic design software, since that is my 9-5.

This is what i need a crash course on. :sad2:

I'm actually in the middle of writing my own content management/blog software. I don't intend on offering it for download/purchase, etc. Just creating one for my own site with the intention of easily expanding & setting it up for new sites. It's taking me a long time, but its going well and its very easy to use with a lot of features.

SEO is what I do best, kinda what I specialize in.

Intermediate PHP and MySQL. I'm working on a drupal installation now, so if anyone has any questions about it, I'd be glad to try and answer them

Near-advanced in php, mysql, css, html, etc.. (have written my own forums, and a full CMS, but need to reference back to php.net etc a lot :p)

Advanced in Photoshop (12yrs as a 9-5 doing graphics for web)..

And know a fair bit of SEO and the theory stuff behind web dev.. I do consulting now for companies in web presence and how to improve theirs.. but my 9-5 is running my little shop :) Had to get out of IT as a 9-5!

There is no such thing as an "html" programmer. HTML is just styling and tags :hsd:

php, mysql, x/html, css, javascript, perl, c++, LAMP, seo, photoshop.

Used to be a Sys. Admin before I decided to go back to web development, so I know my share of server/network administration, security, and pretty fluent in both windows and linux networking services, more particularly apache and iis.

I have an IT degree I obtained about three years ago.

Just your average tech guy I suppose. :dunno:

Primary Job Roles: Concept Drafting (Photoshop/Imageready), Concept Preparation (CSS/HTML), Front-End Programming (Javascript)

I do my own work on the side using PHP/MYSQL (who doesn't on here?), and at work I integrate with ASP.NET / MS SQL.

If I could choose one strength it'd be CSS (hence my post about the ALA Event Apart in Chicago)

I can do lots of things, when I'm asked during interviews im like uh... well... and have a brain fart. Wish there was a way I could consolidate it all :hs: its pretty wide area. Since this forum is here, I'll probably be around a lot sharing or helping with what I know.

It's nice to be a jack of all trades so you don't have to hire others to do your work.

Specialized as a software developer (PHP/MySQL at my current job). Then became a project manager. Now I'm deep in the world of SEO.

I also do linux server configuration and server lockdown.
