    ON Opti-Men multi
Creatine cycling (1 month on, 1 month off) - currently off

Just finished off a bottle of L-Arginine/L-Ornithine; I felt it helped a little bit but not enough to justify the cost.

Looking into fish oil and flaxseed oil.

6'0", 200 lbs, not trying to get huge or cut down a ton. Just trying to get bigger/stronger while staying lean and healthy.

    edit - and whey/casein :hs:

NO Shotgun is a pre-workout supplement, correct? What is it supposed to do, and does it indeed work? How long have you been using it?

Bought it before and will buy it again. However, from the long list of super benefits it supposedly gives you, the only one i really saw was increased energy for better workouts.

  11. Yes. It's supposed to give you energy. It's Creatine, Caffeine, NO, supposedly there's some Beta Alanine in there too but I assume only a little, and then some other random shit...I'd have to look at the bottle.

I'd say it definitely works though. Better than Fast Twitch, NO Xplode and Superpump 250 by far. 1 scoop is usually enough for a little pep-up before workout. Some days I'll take 1.5 but then you'll be buzzin pretty good. When you first start taking it you feel it a shit ton more and then it wears off a little over time.

Those "few" are probably the morons who think it's a steroid.

It won't affect your hormones (therefore oil production), clog your pores with dirt or cause an increase in acne bacteria. If it doesn't affect any way you can develop pimples, there's no way it can cause acne.

The theory is that you need to go without creatine every once in a while to make sure that your body is still capable of producing it naturally. If you supplement too long, your body becomes dependent on the source and becomes much more inefficient at natural production.

Think that'd happen after a while for a cycle of 2 days on/2 days off?

creatine is found in red meat...so if you eat a lot of red meat chances are you don't need supplemental creatine...

don't think you'd get the 5g people take in a scoop though :dunno:

also, you need to take it everyday or else it's supposed to be moot :hsd:

Well 5g may in fact be excessive. IIRC there is a point at which creatine levels reach saturation and any excess is pissed out.
