I know that this topic has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it and figured a new one wouldn't hurt.

I'm looking to decorate my new apartment with some of my shots that don't suck, but I'm not really wanting a ton of picture frames all over my walls. What's "hip" now when it come to hanging pictures.

    Glass is expensive....

These can be cheaply duplicated, we used to do them all the time when I was in HS.

All you need is the following

2 pieces PlexiGlass cut to size
    Bolts
Threaded Spacers (Can be bought at HD/Lowes/Ace).
    Chrome Bolt Caps (autozone/parts stores/hd/lowes).
Drill bits, rulers and permanant marker
Low Speed drill or drill press so as not to crack the plastic.

Sandwich photo between plexisheets you can run invisible double sided tape on your bordering matte or use other methods.

Drill holes for the 4 points, bolt/washer through top piece, threaded spacer after bottom piece (spacer keeps it away from the wall so it has the look as its bolted to the wall). insert chrome caps...

then what I used to do is run a piece of metal wire between the two top hooks and make it taught so it doesnt sag and you're golden

a long time ago, i just hung some string across the wall or even better across the room from one wall to another, and clipped the prints to them.
