i think A-line skirts would slim you down and make your waist look smaller too

Just wanted to mention you'll probably want to consider having tops tailored to have them "taken in" on the sides rather than just hanging there - as long as you've got that hourglass, no reason not to show it ;)

:werd: I live my life putting darts into my shirts so they fit propperly.

and to the original poster. relaxed fit and wide leg trousers that come of the widest point on the hip and fall straight to the floor ALWAYS make an houglass look good, the fit can hide a little bit more of the thickness of the thigh and make you look tall while still accentuating the waistline.

AVOID LIEK THE PLAGUE: Skinny, stove pipe or tapered leg pants. alot of capris styles also look like crap on a big thigh because it just makes the calf and lower leg look THAT much smaller and makes it look like a chicken drummette. NO tulip flare skirts UNLESS you really want to show off the ass... knee length pencil skirts with a high narrow/tailored waist show of hourglasses to perfection as long as the fit inthe top is good.

Wrap dresses and well tailored shirt dresses also work wonders...

Also, I've found people really like when I wear a thigh length jalaba (like linen/indo-paki looking shirt) or dress shirt that is nice and long tailored well through the waist with straight leg pants and a wide belt. Also well tailored Jackets that hit just below the hip do well to show off that waist and hide a little more hip.

Also, please for the love of god, NEVER wear a lowrise jean too tightly. that muffin top bs just makes the rest of you look fat (you may not be but still low rise is not intended for wide hipped women).

Whatever offshape dresses those hot latinas wear with stiletto/heels.

They're higher up the leg in the front, and the back, but longer in the back.

    mmpf.
