What are the best ab workouts?

    Heavy decline situps, standing rope ab crunches (I believe Louie Simmons recommends doing ab movements standing up since it will have the biggest effect in helping your squat/DL)....those are pretty much the only two that I do.

    I did leg raises on Monday (the kind where you prop yourself on your elbows in that pull-up machine thing) and for the past 2 days it has felt like someone was kicking me in the nuts every time i bent over or walked.

    I mix it up. Yeah hanging is much harder mostly it's harder to control the swing and grip strength is gone by the time I do them.

    besides i really don't think the exercise helps in terms of squatting and crazy core strength...

    GT, chime in hurr? i hear heavy duty side-bends with DBs are gut?
