Apparently Bass Pro Shops lowered the price of 870's from $329 to $249, they're holding one for me and i'm going in tonight to buy it. While i'm there I want to pick up any accessories and anything else I may need for it.

What type of accessories and shit does a new Remington 870 owner need?

Yeah, most people prefer it that way. Kinda hard to use it when it's still in the freakin' package. :mamoru:

unless it's an "assault" shotgun, they'll jump up and shoot the bad guy for you.

For now just a bunch of ammo. If its going to be a home defense gun you might consider a surefire front end, but I'd wait a while.

if you'd said Mossberg, I could help you. check Remington directly or gunbroker.

There is one on gunbroker that's a great deal, but it's rusted. All the other's are dealers selling them for full price :wtc:.

yeah, I looked around and they are expensive. I bought my 18.5 inch M500 barrel direct from mossberg for about 85 dollars. :dunno:

heres one for 112 bucks, which isn't the worst of the prices I've seen. Don't know if its "good" for one.
