I don't really care about the taste, I just want something that's not outrageously expensive but has good nutritional content. Anyone have recommendations for meal replacement bars?

I don't recommend you actually replace a meal with a bar (200 calories is never a meal), but I eat the South Beach Diet meal replacement bars as an afternoon snack. 210 calories, 19g protein, etc etc etc. They also have added vitamins and minerals. Most of it is soy protein, but whatever. The chocolate is good, I haven't had the peanut butter.

Yeah, not trying to replace a meal..but I figured they're in the same category. I just want something to eat between on coffee break at work and b/w classes at school.

YEP. Little to no sugar, good amount of protein and carbs. Sugars are mainly comprised of sugar alcohols.

    Specs of my protein bar:
    Total fat: 9g
    Sat fat: 5g
    Sodium: 470mg
    Potassium: 230mg
    Carbs: 23g
    Sugars: 9g
    Protein: 30g
    Calories: 290

Less than $1 each. Is this pretty good?
