    Nothing, I have some but wasn't sure if I should switch gloves once in a while or what. I'm a total noob. :hs:

    Unless you are actually training for mma, meaning you seamlessly work stand up and grappling in one session, there is no need to pick up fingerless gloves.

    Boxing gloves and well-wrapped hands are all you need for bag/pad work. Trust me, I see clueless guys at the gym wailing on the bag with mma gloves and not a single one actually knows what they are doing. Stick with a nice pair of 14oz boxing gloves for striking, grapple with your bare hands.
