I'd like to get a new range bag. Something big enough for one pistol if desired (when I go with more than one I have a case for them), room for ammo, eyes, ears, some standard NRA type targets, other misc stuff.

Anyone have bags they like or recommend and why they like them?

I was looking at this Wilson Combat one, its a lot like what I'm looking for and its priced ok, doesnt seem like you're paying for the name. At the same time, I probably wouldnt mind having it be plain and not have the Wilson's logo all over it either.

    Anyone using something similar?

    Hey that's a nice bag

I got a decent one from Midway USA that was on sale -- around $40 but it was better than some bags twice the price.

I'll try to find the link

I currently use a cheap-o Browning range bag I got at Gander Mountain. For just going to the range for some casual practice it has been fine. But since I started shooting & RO'ing at matches I've definitely outgrown it.

Before next season starts I'm replacing it with something larger and sturdier... mostly looking at Dillon, CED, or Shooters Connection, which are basically all the same in terms of materials and construction, just a little different size & layout wise. I was going to get an iSHOT but they can't seem to keep them in supply and I read somewhere that they are outsourcing the manufacturing.

I have a $20 cheapo from Gander.... but it only has two pocket for pistols and I usually have four, along with 4 types of ammo, targets, eyes, ears, hologram optic, cleaning rod, cloths........

I've outgrown it so I want a nice 4 gun bag. I like my friends, but it's the Glock one with a big Glock logo on the side.

Not owning a Glock I would't get that bag. I wonder where I can find one like it.

I'll check out some of those suggestions. Thanks guys.

I've been using a Timbuk 2 messenger bag for some time and it works well. It just doesnt have any separators or compartments inside so when carrying several boxes of ammo, throwing in eyes, ears, targets and a gun in its case, it starts to get a little crazy inside and having something designed more for carrying that kind of stuff might be nice.

I spoke with Suzy Kim (President) from iShot and they are currently between vendors because their current vendor recently started making bags for Addidas and iSHOT got back burnered.

They were going to work with another vendor but prices would have increased. They are also trying to keep the business in the US, and not outsource overseas.

They make a very good bag I wouldn't hesitate recommending.
