AVG AS + AVG AV = Pure gold

I used AVG AS for a long time (it used to be known as E.W.I.D.O.) and have loved it. It really gets rid of everything. and it's all free. :bigthumb: That's all I run for virus/spyware software and it runs perfect

Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition + IE-SpyAd (do a Google search). IE-SpyAd installs a huge list of restricted websites into IE6 to keep gremlins from downloading themselves if you go to websites that you know you shouldn't go to.

this is all good stuff, thanks alot guys, gonna apply it to my pc when i get home today

i had reformatted my pc because occasionally for no reason it would just restart itself, be like watching a tv show or a movie and right to black and its rebooting. I had had alot of crap in the registry i couldnt remove(like microsoft zune stuff from my 360) but I can't tell if its a heat issue yet, My little Intel onboard diagnostics don't show my temps hitting higher than 115 @ the processor, everywhere else in the case is usually 89-93 degrees. Usually processor temp even while watching a video is around 104

spybot s&d has a "block list" section/component that runs in IE . it is similar to "spyad" in function .

We have an employee who had AVG installed on his machine by his former employer, but it wasn't interfacing with Outlook 2003 properly. I don't remember what exactly it was doing, but it wouldn't let him receive emails. Is this at all a common problem with AVG?
