isn't that pretty much just a list of the cheapest cameras on the market?
I'm a newb and my camera is on that list.
Im not so much a n00b and my cameras are not on that list because they're too old.
I don't see a D700 on there.
i heard the XSi is a pretty good cam, buuuuttt.... I would rather have the better AF system in any of the canon XXd cams or nikon XXXd cams than those
Most people don't drop 2.5k on a camera on a whim, unless you are a gear whore.
He's called Girth cause he has a fat........wallet.
newb with a d80. =\
Id rather start with a 10d/20d than anything on that list.
Truth. Build quality is important to me, I feel like the Rebels and D40/60's feel tiny and very easy to break. I want my camera to feel hefty and able to take a hit.
I'm a noob with a 40D. But before that I had a 300D which was probably on that list 5 years ago.
40D newb here
at least you didn't buy a beginner SLR.
i thought skillz > gear
yeah to an extent. Still if the camera cant focus, then you still miss the shot even if you are the greatest on the planet. But yes for any novice any of the cams mentioned would be great, but im one of those who like the most bang for the buck, and the consumer bodies dont give me that
What if your name is Ken Rockwell?
well then you dont even need a camra you can take mental pictures and just draw them later.
hey wait a minute fuck-o!
photos are just delivered to your door of things you saw while walking around.
There is nothing wrong with the XTI for a beginner, they work very well, take great pictures, and are super cheap!
