About a month ago, near as I can figure, I had a bout of weightlifter's cephalgia

It was intense and made me stop immediately and leave the gym. I had a headache for almost a week. Went back after 7 days, with the headache subsided to about 5% of it's original intensity... and 3 sets in it came back. I was nervous. The thought of this being a regular thing just sucked as much as sucking can suck.

Well, I took 3 weeks off, ate a shitload, bulked over 20lbs and went back today. Didn't go heavy, only about an hour and a 75% of my previous weights.... but no headache! It feels so good to be back.

    PS. I'm fat

I had tendonitis in my right shoulder, there is nothing worse then not being able to go to the gym. I couldn't help it so I went anyway and dealt with the pain, it actually healed up pretty well and quick once I started throwing in RC range of motion exercises

i would throw in about 6 sets of internal external rotations at the end of my workout, and would do all different types of stretches inbetween all my regular sets. I would do broomstick stretches but they were real intense. I cut back on weight because of the pain, but it felt like the shoulder was getting better at a faster rate when i was lifting then when I was resting.

I'd say you need to work on your breathing if you getting headaches like that regularly.
