:dunno: Well since it's best buy, get the warranty, and just return it if you got problems, Their warranty kicks ass.

I had a White Westinghouse television. In fact I still do have it. Don't know if its the same brand, but it's lasted me about 8 years now and I've never had a problem. Picture is still the same.

it doesnt matter what brand LCDs are nowadays.

the displays are usually made by a "brand". the price difference is maybe in the bells and whistles like input boxes or features.

That sounds about right. $150-200 for a warrenty on tvs under $1000. I bet I could get that TV for about 700-800 for me due to my discount.

    @ the noobs.

There are only a few company in the world that is able to produce their own LCD panels, you will be suprised that some name brand LCD uses the exact same panel as the shitty brands.

Costco ftw, they have several LCDs for the price. If you have found ONE 32 inch LCD w/ HDTV for under $1000, consider it to be the shittiest 32 inch w/ HD out there.

LCDs are overpriced, get a flat screen tube.
