For anyone familiar with tracks in Michigan I went to Lapeer. It's possibly the worst track I could imagine. I have an SRT-4 and they don't let FWD cars use the waterbox for a proper burnout. I knew this ahead of time so I went on street tires and wasn't trying to get a personal best...I went with some other guys just to have fun. Anyhow, best of the day (and close with all the rest) was a 12.9 @ 118 with a 2.175 60'. I have slicks so once I get to a track I can use them on (which won't be until next year) I should be real close to the 11's.

    Cliffs: SRT-4 12.9 @ 118 with a 2.175 60'

    Thanks.

This thread needs more SRT hate. I'm shocked.

I've never been to Lapeer, but I never cared to either. I haven't heard one good thing about the place. Milan FTW, not on test and tune night though lol.

Congrats on ze 12 second slip.

Lapeer is as worse as you've heard and then some I'm sure.

I have plenty of other 12 second slips. I was at 13.0's with the stock turbo. This was the first outing with the turbo upgrade so I was more looking at the speed considering it was Lapeer. I picked up 6 - 7 mph though, so I should be set once I get some traction.

How is the new track over in Kalamazoo? Looks pretty nice, but never seen it up close.

I've never been to any of the tracks over there. The only one I know of is Martin Dragway aka US 131. I've heard it's fairly decent though. Around here Milan is as good as it gets. Lapeer is garbage and I've heard mixed reviews on Ubly up by Port Huron. Most people find it more than worth it to make the trip to Norwalk.
