Finally got out to go shooting and put 400 rounds through the G23 and 400 through the FNP9. FNP went thru the 400 flawless, while i had a few FTE with the G23.

Central FL WMDers i went to the Ocala range, it was pretty nice, free to use no range master but generally if you need to change out targets just ask everyone shooting if they mind going cold. 6 pistol and 6rifle lanes, also has a clay throwing range but there were a few people who just set up some targets on a log and were going to town.

All in all I had fun, just need more practice.

Too bad Ocala is 3 hours away. I go to a paper-only hot/cold nazi range down here. :(

I probably dropped about $200 yesterday but some of that will help in future range trips

$200? Just for the rental or what did that all include?

I wouldnt be able to stand shooting just paper targets anymore. Lately Ive been shooting all sorts of stuff in my yard. Last week me and my friends shot up a big wheel trike, a plastic kids wagon, a fire extinguisher, and 2 plasma tv's. Weve also on other occasions shot up christmas decorations and furniture

I also shoot at cans of fake snow as a "shoot n see" type of target

How long were the rifle lanes there?

I usually shoot at home, but I've only got ~30yds to work with :hs:
