Went to the range today and put a few hundred rounds through my AR. I set it down on the bench for a few minutes while I shot my Glock 19. At about this time, it started sprinkling just a bit. I didn't think much of it until I picked up my rifle and noticed SIX water drops on the upper AND lower recievers! :eek3: do I need to strip and re-finish the gun? What should I do?! I'd take pictures but I'm too embarassed to.

    Halp me, WMD!

Which is why we all need to work on our operator status so we can obtain the unblowupable 416.

I carry mine out in the rain, I'm sure there are people that would flip their shit if they saw someone doing that. I do keep the ejection port closed and a cap on the barrel though.

OMG there's water AND dust on the lens of my T1! I never should have taken it out of the safe! Guns aren't meant to be used outside!

Threads like this make me glad my ARs are both in a safe at my Dad's in Phoenix. It's crazy dry there! :bigthumb:
