if you liked the Ruger, get a ruger.

The P-series are good pistols, though the typical P-series (P89, P90, P95, etc) has different ergos than the P345 that you shot.

I shoot at the los altos rod and gun club. Though i have wanted to try the Chabot range recently. There is another guy on here that goes to Chabot a lot, were planning some day to do a bay area meet and shoot. I like Los Altos because you can throw your own clays, and they have a 40 and 100yd tin can ranges which are a blast. They weather up there isnt always great, usually windy and it was about 45 degrees last sunday:noes:

I have heard there is an awsome range up in Petaluma with a 100-400yd rifle range. I only have an iron sight .35 lever action, so that far is out of the question for me, but my buddies have some scoped 7mm, and if i get a 30-06 anytime soon we are heading up there for sure

P-89T was my first gun, it was pretty nice.
My friend bought it from me as his first gun

I think I just might. Next time I go to the range, I'll try to shoot some of the others that you mentioned. Also there is a gun show coming up on Feb. 11th so I'll try to pick something up there.

Honestly, I havent been there in years. I've heard it's not as good as it used to be, just like everything else in CA when it comes to guns but I'm still going to check it out.

I was actually impressed at Vacaville, I didn't shoot there was I was an out of stater, so "I didn't have any guns with me" But the counter people were really nice and didn't have the normal gun shop attitude.

Yeah I completely agree. I went in thinking they would be the usual pricks to me because I was young. They were very cool though, let me hold an AR and couple shotguns and were overall very nice.
