Came back with some new shit for my AK. Got a new waffle mag for it, but then it wouldnt fit in the damn gun so with the handy dremel I took some metal out of the mag well and not its nice and smooth. Got a new muzzle brake for it, so I dremeled out the spotweld on the muzzle nut and replaced that shit. Got a SAW style grip for it becuase I like its girth :naughty:. And then I polished the bolt on it to give it that classic AK look. All in all, it looks really fucked up now, but I kinda like it.

Damn grip was hard to get off. That screw was driven in so tight I had to use an impact driver to get it out. And all I can say is damn do those things work good!

That PG is sweet. I've seen it on a few other AK's and never knew what kind of model it was from. :bigthumb:

I went to a gun show too. Got 2 boxes of .35rem.

The shows around here kinda suck, but my friend is looking for a pistol, so its more fun then usual.

:coold: the bulgie waffle mags were even a bit of a tight fit in my SAR1. If the grips is comfortable cool, personally not a fan of the black grips and wood furniture, I have wood chinese checkered on all my 7.62 ak's and red bakelite on wasr2.

Is the barrel bent? Maybe it's just the angle of the camera.

It does look a little bent. But I think it's the camera.

This was the gun show at the fairgrounds over on 8 mile. But they also have the gibraltar shows that are pretty good. Hell, they are the same thing really.

Its on woodward and 8 mile at the fairgrounds. Isnt that ferndale? Whatever it was its far from ghetto. Now down closer to the river it can get a little hairy.

That means your local then right? We need to go shoot sometime!

If you decide to try to do something that matches later on, the chinese checkered wood grips are pretty nice, thicker then the crappy black plastic one that comes on the romy rifles.
