im assuming walmart is the cheapest place to get .223 ammo...its the lowest i can find, Remington 20 pack for like $8...anywhere else i should check?

Gander Mountain had a Wolf ammo 20rd pack for $6.99 but the guy there said it was junk...any opinions on that?

Right after you left the employee laughed and bought it and took it home :mamoru:
Mine ate Wolf with no problems.. in fact I never shot anything else out of mine.. get what you can get..

Look online at Sportsmans Guide or check the ammo section of ar15.com, they have what online places have it in stock, price and availablity, I would just buy a case of it and keep it.

Some people don't want to put steel cases through their AR. It will shoot fine but it's not reloadable and it probably won't hurt your rifle. If you ever plan on reloading in the future just pay the extra dollar now and save all your casings.

    Sweet gun

Look around and you can find some pretty good deals on slightly used Aimpoint M2's because gear whore's want to spend the $700 on M4's for no apparent reason.

went to that gunshow yesterday. had a ton of stuff there, but everything was high as hell. they had a used remington 870 express 12 gauge with the extended mag for $450. I paid around $330-350 for mine brand new.

only deal I saw was they had a microtech(think I spelled that right), out the front knife for $250 brand new. should have been around $400. didn't have $250 to drop on a knife though, :(

You just have to learn how to haggle. Go saturday and find what you want, go back sunday night and start making offers, lots of dealers take them rather than pack it home.
