Oh my god. thank god i finally got a diagnosis to why i feel like shit all the time for that past year..
ive never been so scared in my life last friday
i woke up, was feeling fine, tried to read something on the computer

    "cstrike secks?"

it looked like this at first

    "cstrike s?"

    i was like wtf?
so i moved my eyes around
i had a blind spot.. i was like WTF IS THIS
so i thought i had to go to sleep i was just exhausted or something..
so i lied down, tried to go back to sleep.. couldnt i was too scared
so i got up and tried to shake it off..
couldnt, i couldnt read.. i couldnt comprehend anything
i thought i was having a stroke.. i was REALLY scared
so i went in the shower to try to get my mind off of it and let it work itself out..
i started washing my hair.. i felt a tingling in my thumb, i looked at it.. it went COMPLETELY numb, the tingling moved up my hand into my fingers and stuff
it moved up into my tongue, :ugh: i was like OKAY FUCK
so i ran and called 911.. started to calm down, the symptoms subsided
i got in the ambulance.. i went to the hospital, they did a catscan to see if i had a stroke, nope
it was a panic attack, ive been having em on and off recently, and it was finally to the point where i went to the hospital and got it diagnosed
    im so happy..
sorry if nobody wants to read this but im just so happy that i wont be sick and scared all the time now..
wednesday im going to a psychaitrist to get a prescription / talk with him about my fears... if anyone has questions about what i fear then message me...

Cliffs: Panic attacks recently, had stroke symptoms the other day, turned out to be a hardcore panic attack.. going to doctor on wednesday to talk / get medications (paxil maybe?)

if anyone has any questions about my panic / fears post em :)
im so happy its gonna be over finally

I know exactly how you feel. I was diagnosed with this about 4 months ago after a similar situation. The tingling is by far the scariest thing. You'll probably be perscribed a medication to take when you feel an attack coming on like klonopin, which helps a LOT and an SSRI like zoloft. That's what i've been on and it's helped quite a bit.

    Update, 4+ years later.

I overcame this on my own, no medicine...

A lot of life has happened between then and now.. Got married, have a baby, one on the way, own a house...

Pretty amazing how time changes things.

    Hang in there.

Glad to hear things improved for you. I know what Panic Disorder is like. I've had them too. It feels like a stroke/heart attack, or like you're basically dying. Everything turns whitish looking and hazy and you become so ungodly restless that you practically start running from room to room and calling people (usually 911 for most people).

Medication induced panic attacks are the worst ones too because they don't end after 10-20 minutes. They last 4-8 hours. It's terrifying and you can't control it once it starts.
