My step-dad took me out there in his Viper

Anyway, didn't get many pics, but here are a few :

Where can I upload an 11.8 MB video? I took a crappy video of my step-dad's first run (first ever, so it's not great, but cool nonetheless).

 - the first pass I ever made at a drag strip in a 100% stock 87 Mustang was a 9.3 and I had only had my license for a few days. The next week I was running 8.90s...Congratulations, that Viper is a high 13 second car

If your a stupid fuck, don't qoute me, I know the car is quick and the driver sucks you asshats...

One problem we were having was no traction...

We didn't have slicks, and they we didn't really get the opportunity to spin the tires before

If we could of got a good start it would have been better

Learning to drive the car is more important than just owning it ;)

....and to the 2nd statement, that's my point. Vipers aren't easy to launch, gobs and gobs of low end torque. A buddy had a silver rt-10 and the only way to really get it out of the hole was to leave from idle and kinda let it bog and hope it stays kinda hooked at the top of first, shortshift second and be easy on the shift. On stock tires you don't have much choice.
