Gun store wouldn't let the G26 that I wanted go for less than $500 + tax (about $530). topglock.com sells it for $480 shipped. . . and the pawn shop across the street offered to handle the transfer for $20. so, :hs:

    Why G26?

I like that glocks have simple controls, are reliable, and light weight. The small size of the 26 makes it easy to carry and conceal. And 9mm because I'll be able to afford to practice more frequently than I would with a gun that shoots more expensive cartridges.

    You should buy it locally.

It's only $30 more. You get it right there on the spot. And you're support your local shops.

That gun store didn't go lower than $500 because they probably get their Glocks through a distributor for ~$440.

I hate to spend more than i have to, but yeah. Keeping your business and money local is always a good look.

Wait until it takes topglock 2 weeks to ship your order (if you are lucky) and you'll wish you just spent the extra $30 to get it right away.

I agree with my local shop support, but my local shop is a bunch of d-bags :(

I went to Columbus (my bro's local shop) and it turns out one of their employees' first jobs was at my local shop :)

We exchanged stories on how they treat people.

The grip is more difficult to conceal than the slide. Putting a grip extension on the G26 makes it feel just like a G19

Yeah, for $30 its more than worth it to buy it locally.

I bought my G17 from TG, but I got it for $478 shipped when the lowest price locally is $580 before tax. That is worth it, $30 isnt.

Unless it's a gunstore that you totally support, fuckem. Buy it wherever it's the cheapest.

    Right on with the G26.

I got my complete AR lower from there a LONG ass time ago. They cut me a pretty good deal. Now I probably couldn't afford anything they sold. haha

I figured I'd buy my Stag lefty from there since they had a new one in stock. I'm heading back up there this weekend to get some range time in with my bro. :o
