Whatever dude. I have like 6 of those, and 3 of those blue ones with the stars--medals of honor or something.
Awesome. Whats the printed story behind it, and whats the real version?
Were you awarded that?
...Displaying courage and leadership throughout the Topeka area of operation, he led Marines in the neutralization of 450 Improvised Explosive Devices and the capture of 36 weapons caches....while on an improvised explosive device response, with total disregard to his personal safety, he saw Soldiers in danger and immediately performed a manual render-safe of an improvised explosive device while the patrol was under.... he led his Marines from the front with stalwart leadership....fearless actions directly reduced potential injury or death blah, blah, blah
real version cliffs: manually neutralizing IEDs (some while taking fire)

Congrats! sounds like you deserved it!
It is good to see that people are getting medals for their actions in combat. I wish more people, obviously ones who earned it like yourself, were awarded these higher medals.
The guys here that got Bronze Stars received them in the standard manner medals are given out.
No, stand at attention, right face, get pinned, shake, salute, left face, parade rest until the speaker is done talking... the left face and parade rest because it was the Bronze Star, not an Achievement medal
Congrats for the recognition.
I was feeling good about the Achievement medal I was awarded today until I saw this..
Congrats! What unit are you with?
