I went late. It started at 9AM, i got there ~3:30. There were still a boatload of people there, but I waded through all the beef jerky, spice booths, jewelry, glass figurines, indian "artifact" booths, and fishing gear(which is a first for me, i've never seen a fishing booth set up at any gunshow before). I finally found some guns and ammo, 99% of which was overpriced. I went looking for a basic 10/22 to mess around with, or a charger pistol just for shits and giggles. I was suprised to see that even the 10/22's were overpriced. Starting prices for base models were $260+. Found a NIB charger at a table for $275. It was the first one I saw, so I kept looking around. Found other uglier colored ones for $300, $315 and $350 at various booths. Went back and got the one for $275 cash. NIB w/ all accessories. I figure it's a decent deal, and I dont think I could order one online and get it shipped/transferred for the same price.

I've had my eye on them ever since Ruger introduced them. I think it'll make a fun little plinker.

    it is what it is

  4. I guess it's cool as long as you like it, but I think it's among the most pointless firearms ever produced.

Well, I dont think Ruger produced it to fill any real gaps in the firearm world, but it should punch holes in paper just fine.

    or zombie heads.

:dunno: I guess since VFG's are primarily made to be held and bipods are made to be rested on something.

The definition of AOW doesn't mention anything about rimfire. And you could make a strong point that a bipod could be used as a grip.

I'm just wondering how it isn't an AOW. Because I could go for an ak pistol with a bipod :mamoru:
