Fucking LOVE the new sierra. Priced out a new 2500 Duramax, crew cab, standard bed. 45,000 out the door. Friend I know works for a dodge dealership so I met him there and then we took one of the new 07 or 08 (i can't remember) Rams over. They tried to push that so hard but it was not even comparable to the GMC. I did really like the cummings deisel, it pulled hard as hell but the dodge interiors were bland and generic. Friend was sold on me getting the Dodge but after he saw the GMC he aslo changed his mind:bigthumb:.

Can't wait till i've got everything in line to purchase on:bowdown:

the only thing I like more about the Dodge is the solid front axle.

but that can be fixed in the GMC.

not worth "fixing" in the GMC, imo. I really wish they kept IFS for 2wd, and went SFA for 4x4.

All depends on what you want to do with it..

if you looking to drive it and not wheel and throw huge tires on it ifs will be fine..

    dodge interior does suck.

Yeah i'm not going to be taking it off road so it would suit me fine the way it is. I just wanted something that would have no problems pulling the car/trailer and eventually an enclosed trailer at some point. Plus wanted something that was pretty luxury on the inside on the inside since it would be my first real purchase:bigthumb:

Im really hating post 07 diesels... Now ford, dodge, and GM all have to have stupid ass bullshit particulate filters on them. It pretty much restricts the exhaust so bad its like running a .5 inch exhaust. I bought an 07 Dodge 6.7 thinking i could deal with the bullshit exhaust. Boy was I wrong. If i could straight pipe it, itd be the best truck i ever owned, but its so computer controlled, a straight pipe is out of the question.

Yea I usually don't even have problems with emissions. I just plug in the laptop and start check off "no mill" for all that stupid shit.

They've figured out how to straight pipe the 6.4 power strokes, i guess you can buy a programer that can turn off the emissions crap and thus you can straight pipe it... They havent figured it out on the GM or Dodges yet. I know its just a matter of time before we learn how, but im completely sick of this crap NOW and want the straight pipe NOW :mamoru:

Is that for the GMs? Does it just turn the lights off? or does it turn the lights and exhaust sensors off.

HP tuners will allow you to turn off ANYTHING in a gm PCM. I actually have to double check for the duramax pcm's but i'm 99% sure they can be accessed in the same way as well. But you can turn off the sensor, the light, anything you want it to do. You can actually just delete a code out of the PCM and it can never throw the code again.

I can't remember the color off the top of my head, but it was a darker grey metallic color.

I was looking at the silverado's today as well. They look pimp with that barred crome grill but i can't stand thoes ugly plastic vents on each corner of the hood on the duramax.

    Yes!

I still want to check out a few other colors but probably will be that color with the black interior. I really wanted the tan interior but I know that its going to be dirty on days we go racing and all. I still have some time to look around and find the right combo though. School isn't over till december and thats really what i'm focusing on until then. Getting a new car/truck is the only thing I have to motivate me to do work in school now. 2 months till graduation and still so much left to do.:eek4:

Can't go wrong with the GM. I'd love to get a new one, but I only buy new vehicles when my old one won't move under it's own power. and my '02 2500HD just won't die. There was one on ebay a while back that had hit 500,000 miles, Duramax and Allison ftw
