    This is a good sign!

We had two M249's and 4 barrels at the shoot!

    That's me letting her rip!

    Another good sign!

Had a decent punch for a practice 40mm

    Browning M1919

Don't use Wolf lacquer ammo, the M1919 got hot and this round lacquered into the barrel and ripped apart. The rest of the casing was fussed in the barrel, that was all the shooting for that one.

We had those pictured above and a bunch of AR's, Full Auto AK, M16, M14's, and you basic Glocks, Sig's and H&K handguns. Couple guys brought out some suppressed .308 and 22's... it was a good time.

Looks like a lot of fun man. I'd love to let a full auto rip!

Do you have a high-res image of that 2nd pic? I'd love to use it for my background!

We had two belts of Wolf 30.06 we wanted to shoot up first and wouldn't think it would fail at about 60 rounds in.

Here's some more SAW pics, I will try to get all cleaned up and .zip them. I didn't take too many as we were shooting firearms more than cameras, but to shoot a M249 SAW is not something you come across everyday.

I wish there were people close by that would setup gun meets like this! The local range will rent out SAWs, but you pay a ton for the ammo and it's like $65/hr. :(

The last gun show people were shooting the M16s so much that the uppers had to be changed out becauase they started to warp. :eek3:

Nah, that shit's nasty. And it doesnt take long for it to melt. Especially in a weapon with as tight of tolerances a 1919 can have.

Here's a slightly unedited 23meg zip file of some of the gun and ammo pics... enjoy!

    www.brian-r.net/Shootfest07/SAW.zip

... I've been so caught up posting pics, that I haven't got to comment on how sweet it was running belts through that beast! It made the M16 and Ak47 feel like a toy... the M14 kinda kicked my ass or actually my shoulder, not bad single shot, but full auto it's a handful.
