GUN went shooting this morning v.mosin/mauser

    went shooting this morning v.mosin/mauser v. NOW WITH PICSlc

    panzerace and i went this morning. him with the mosin nagant and i brough my mauser.

    hit 10" targets at 75 and 150 yards :bowdown:. i got real fucking close to nailing one at 270 yards, but i couldnt get it :sad2:

    all in all, not to fucking shabby for ~60 year old rifles and iron sights :coold:

    but yah, we couldnt get the fucking elevation right on that last target. Im going to blame 56 year old ammo :o

    private land on a ranch about 20-30 minutes north of Merced.

    Me'n my M1 FTW. I know I hit the 275 with it...hey Hoss and Panzer, which one of you hit the far target with your irons? (pretty sure 'twas Panzer...or am I talking out my ass?)

    huh? It's a reg'd AR

    And GB, niether of us hit the far target with ours (though I only put 10 rounds down range with the mosin, so who knows if I would have hit it with more)

    I bet you coulda eventually, and I was so sure Hoss would, since he kept getting so damn close...I blame the varying crosswind.
