Shot a .22 Ruger Mark II. First shot ever from a real gun was a bullseye from 10 yards :coolugh:

overall, my dad and i did most of the shooting from 25 yards and hit 95% in the red.

shot two boxes worth between the both of us (100 rounds)

cool shit, i will def. go back to the range and try different guns.

Heh I don't think there are too many people that can go shooting and say that it wasn't at least a little fun.

Me. But that's just because my Plinkster starts having trouble after I put about 500 rounds through it without cleaning it :mamoru:. I want to get a 10/22 but I know I'll just end up spending a stupid amount of money on it.

I've only bothered to shoot it once. I put a brick of ammo through it when it was brand new and by the time I hit the 400 round mark or so it started misfeeding. I cleaned it up really well and keep meaning to take it back out but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I like shooting my handguns too much :o.

i shot a "Nein millmmleetuhl" today...glock 19. got a couple brass that would have hit my eyes had it not been for my glasses, and i did shoot low and to the left (i hear this is common with glock and crappy shooters :mamoru:)

the 9 did obviously have a lot more kickback than the .22 but it was managable and ill get used to it the more i shoot with it, since 9mm is what i want to shoot regularly (since it's the smallest cal recommended for carry?)

anyway, i liked the glock 19 but still i still want to try p99, p229 and a couple others

Just some advice too, if your safety glasses don't fit really close to the top of your face, wear a baseball cap or its a matter of time until you get hot brass trapped between your face and glasses. it burns. :d

9mm is the smallest I'd want a primary gun to be in since its about the smallest round I'd carry a hollow point int. Sometimes you have to trade caliber out for size though if you want a pocket gun with the thinking that any gun is better than no gun.
