Did you shoot B&W or did you remove the color. I went on the river architecture tour. That first high rise was designed by a woman architect. Pretty cool with the balconies.

Love that first building... what is it, residential?

I have an uncle that lives on Michigan ave., behind the water tower. I love LOVE downtown Chicago. If I was single and money wasn't the object, I'd choose there over any place in the world.

I just desaturated. Sky was really overcast so I decided to just make this a B&W set. The buildings dont have much color in them anyways so I think it turned out well

Love it! Love the perspective and the near-death experience in #6!

I've only been to Chicago once, but absolutely loved it (and this was before I was into photography). I'm jealous, you bastard.

A lot of shots before #16 gave me a headache. The buildings have great architecture and patterns, but it looked like some pictures either ran together or looked the same. It was just too much for my eyes to make sense of everything. Maybe one full-framed shot of a building would have been fine. Once you stepped back and shot more of the environment everything got a lot better. If you would have widened #16 to catch more of the street as well, that would have been my favorite hands down.

Great set. The B&W really makes these. I bring my camera to work a lot and wander the city during lunch taking pictures. So many great things to shoot.

Haven't yet. I'm too critical of my own work and they seem like snapshots to me. It's not often I share. I really need to get over that hump and just throw them out there for people to see.

Well you dont have to have gone any places to know you love it. However, I would think you need to go quite a few places to say you would chose it over any other place in the world...
