Came back with a Kel-Tec in my pocket. Been setting aside money to replace the Taurus I sold, waiting for my gun shop to get in the dozen or so LCP's he's been waiting on. Went by there today and he still didn't get those yet, but he did have a trade in P3AT sitting on the counter. $270 and he threw on the little belt clip for no charge. Even had some .380 in stock.

Congrats on the purchase! I've been toying with the idea of picking up a pocket pistol in .380. Kinda leaning towards the LCP but the P3AT is definitely at the top of my list. I've been more than pleased with my PF9 and its concealability, but it still can't compare with that.

Everything I've read about the LCP and the P3AT says they're pretty much the exact same gun, and the LCP is not easy to come by right now, so this was a pretty easy choice to make.

The Keltec feels like a plastic gun, the grip is horrid. The Ruger doesn't feel as plastic, and the grip is much nicer. Other than that yeah they're basically the same.

Agreed, they're pretty much identical in function. The Ruger does look and feel like a more "polished" firearm. Not so rough around the edges.
