I ridiculously posted my happy little milk thread yesterday in the main forum where the only thing that flies is, as someone else put it, is a Honda or an Enzo.... Hopefully yall have a higher level of appreciation. :bigthumb:

Anyways, 1997 Supercharged Buick Riviera. 149k miles, pristine shape. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this car. Been wanting one since I was 20. Its just such a joy to drive.

Aggreed. I just had to have the first bit of work done to my grand prix at 140xxx miles. The plastic upper intake warped and needed to have new lower intake gaskets. $900 with a hookup to get fixed at the dealership but still only "major" work required and apparently its a common defect at that mileage.

The supercharged ones can be a problem though if not properly maintained. First thing I'd do is check the bearings and change out the supercharger oil.

yeah.. Im gonna take it in as soon as I get the time and get all the fluids changed and have it gone over for real good. I love the car, and definitely plan on keeping it in the great shape that its in. Ive noticed there are a couple of things Im going to have to get worked on (gas gauge doesnt seem to work very well being the only thing that really stands out) but overall its been great so far.

It definitely has a well maintained feel though. I mean yeah, there are certainly things that are dated, but I didnt buy the car for that.
