It's brand spankin new too, the test fire date is 10/15/2007 :wiggle:

Got it for 499, which for highcaps is what gunbroker was selling them for, so I'm happy. And goddamn do I love the state of Arizona, here's how the convo went:

I walk into the store/shooting range

    Him: Can I help you?
Me: Just pricing some Glock 19's
Him: Ahh, let me show you
Me: Do you have new or used?
    Him: New. And it's 499.
Me: Hrm, (having been to other local stores earlier that day, this was best price) I'll take it.
    Him: Here, fill this out.
    five minutes pass
Him: Alright let me call this in, make sure you're not part of the Manson family
    three minutes pass
    Him: Enjoy your new weapon.

:bowdown: Shit, I was in and out of there quicker then it would have taken me to go to the grocery store and buy a loaf of bread or something. No wait period for the win.

So I went home, cleaned in, got my friend and we went back to the range to see how it fired. Goddamn was it beautiful.

    Next up on the list:

    IWB Holster
    CCW class

Jealous, I purchased mine before you and I am still waiting :(

Most of it was USPS taking two weeks to ship. Now I am on the 10 day wait and pick up on the 28th.

Nice purchase and have fun while being safe.

    G19 croo holla :wavey:

On a sidenote I got to fire an M&P9C and a G26 side by side. I have come to the conclusion that the M&Pc will be the next firearm that I own :wiggle: Fits my hand so god damn well.

Once you get your CCW the process is even faster.

Great choice and great plan for future purchases. :bigthumb:

The M&Pc is slightly bigger than the G26 and slightly smaller than the G19. The M&P is slightly bigger than the G19 but slightly smaller than the G17. S&W is aiming at Glocks three models by sizing their two in the niches between, 3 birds with 2 stones.

 I saw that thread yesterday

I wouldn't trade my 19 for anything though. This will just be an addition.

If I bought another Glock, it would be a G19. For sure.

G17, G19, G21 are all very tempting for me.

What are good OWB holsters as well for the glock 19? It appears the intermediate pistol class I want to take wants an OWB hip holster, so just curious what you all recommend.

I'd just pick up a cheap Galco or High Noon holster if that's all it is needed for.
I never use OWB in real life, so I couldn't tell ya what's quality. IWB is the only way to go for me. Just my preference though.

I got my 19 about a year and a half ago. Love it. A friend of mine shoots IDPA and I got involved in it with him. Man that is some of the funnest shit. Then I finally caved and bought a Springfield 1911 and sent it to Wilson Combat and had it tricked. BAD ASS. I shoot both classes in IDPA now. What a rush. You should try it sometime , I'm sure there is a club near you. Just google 'IDPA' and you can find links to clubs near you, also check with local gun shops and ranges and you'll find the degenerates I'm talking about. If you love your Glock now wait til you run and gun it. Boner every time.
