only one company out of sweden makes it now. so its going to be handload only after i get enough casings. usually about $2 a bullet if you buy them prepacked.

    the bullets are .303 british

cases can be bought new from norma of sweden in packs of 100. or you can get a full round for $39 for 20. same company.

    Looks great!

Are bayonetts traditionally sharp? I've never had a really sharp one, I thought they were left relatively dull.

I've always seen dull ones. It's meant to be lethal when jabbed... not meant to cut your arm off when its folded in.

i would assume the japanese would keep them sharp. ever seen the pictures of what they used to do with the damn things in WWII.

i made it kinda sharp, but its by no means a razor. would certainly suck to be stabbed with the damn thing :noes:

ha, i just did some research, bayonets should be relatively dull, and the little bit of sharpening i did technically ruined conductibility. oh well. lol. ill leave it where its at and call it a day.

would be a sick blade to have sharp as shit tho!

If the blade is uncut that will seriously ruin the value. They were not intended to be sharpened.

you don't see a lot of members of wwII jap rifle crew it seems.

maybe its simply a case of availability? did they melt them all down after the war or something?
