and came back with a Charles Daly Law Enforcement M4, my first AR-15.

So far I'm loving it. I took it out to the local range yesterday and had a great time. Took a little while to get it from Budsgunshop, but the prices there were WAY better than anything local.

I only ran about a hundred rounds through it yesterday, but I know I won't touch it for a while so I cleaned it this afternoon.

Considering I haven't shot rifles in a long time, and all I have are the factory irons I thought it was pretty accurate. :wiggle:

    $970 shipped.

Went out and bought a case, some PMAGS, bunch of ammo... now the wife is worried.

You may have a collector's item. Charles Daly went out of business about a week ago.

Nice rifle, man. I've heard good things about them.

Dang. I was just at their site probably the day before it went down. I didn't really buy this gun to be a collector's item, more for a shooter. I wonder what will happen with my "lifetime" warranty.

Oh well. AR-15 parts are interchangeable.

Oh well. Seems like they have someone taking over the warranty stuff. We shall have to see what happens.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. An AR is an easy rifle to work on with a minimal amount of tools.
