    27" iMac
    3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    1TB Serial ATA Drive
    ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB
Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) and User's Guide
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
    Apple Magic Mouse

Also got the Mini Display Port to Mini Display Port cable so I can use it as a larger monitor for my MacBook Pro

that is one hot imac.... and apparently the cpu is in a socket so you can upgrade it some time later (not to i7 though.. different socket again) - but to perhaps a Qxxxx

 I didn't know you can do that with the new iMacs. They made some nice changes this revision.

if you connect a MacBook to it, what happens? Is it some key combo to switch it to external display mode? Does it work like a KVM switch so the key board and mouse control the MacBook? Can you switch between the iMac and MacBook at will?

I'm wondering because I'm liking the idea of an iMac and a Mac Mini server but only if I only need one keyboard/mouse.

Why remote if you can have a live KVM connection? :dunno:

Over an ethernet connection, you should be able to remote without losing much if any performance....

They stuck video card with 256MB of VRAM into a compy with the crazy resolution that thing has? WTF?! I didn't even know they MADE Radeon 4670s with only 256MB of VRAM. They certainly don't sell them as standalone cards. 512MB or 1GB only.

    I know it's a 4670, typo. I'm actually running a lame-ass 4670 right now while I save for a 5870.
