91LX mostly stock, supposed to have 3.55's in it (they feel steeper then that though), O/R H-pipe, cat back, and a Hurst shifter. I had an 89LX for a few years that I did a bunch of work to and then sold in early 05 to fund another project. Always regretted it, and finally decided to replace it.

Not right now, mostly want to just fix a couple of minor things wrong with it and drive it. It'll eventually get the wrench put to it, but not right now. I just wanted a fun daily, as I already have a hot rod.

Throw a 300 shot on it, when the motor pops, buy another one for $350, rinse, repeat.

LOL, pass, I'm quick on engine swaps, but I don't think I want to be that proficient.

I would have liked one, but most everything around here is either beat to death, over priced, or both.

Thanks, I got it for $3900

I think it's better then my old one. I spent $3800 on my old 89 and it's A/C didn't work. Plus it had a ton of ape'd up shade tree crap done to it that this one doesn't have.

I need to move. a fox that nice would cost at least 1.5-2k more than that here.

like what NE said, that fox would've went for about $5k here in CT. I bought my GT in 06 for $5k and I bet I could easily get $7k for it now.

It doesn't show in the pics, but it really needs a paint job. It won't get one for a while because I'll do nothing but worry about it once it looks nice. I'd rather just drive it and enjoy it for now. Can't seem to get the idea of a supercharger out of my head though.

    I'd rather have forced-induction.

Does anyone make a supercharger that responds to throttle input the way turbochargers do? It's nice how turbos don't suck engine power except when you're pegging the gas, but the lag is annoying in traffic.

A well-set-up S/C draws little power. The M90s on my GTPs consume about 1/3 of one horsepower at cruise/idle. Only when you jump on it do they take power. In other words, they only take it when they make it.

Response is instant. It's already turning at engine speed; you floor it, the vacuum-activated bypass closes, and it's on. :bigthumb:

Even when I just "mash" the throttle, boost is maxed before the pedal hits the floor. Not many turbos are that quick, if any.

Do you have Roots blowers or centrifugal blowers? I'd think the centrifugal ones would be more energy-efficient, but what do I know.
