I've been daily carrying my 40 cal p226 and now that summer is starting to hit here in az, its getting a bit hot and the p226 is a bit big for a tshirt and shorts - i was thinking of getting a subcompact 10mm or 45acp, but a friend of mine with a glock 27 just started a divorce, his wife just froze all their assets, and he really needed cash

i told him that i wasn't really looking to buy a gun at this point (as i was going to try the 10mm and 45 acp and wait a few months - likely buy one new) - so we decided on a fair price that would make me happy and make me actually want to buy the gun - and he just needed some cash

so i got the glock 27, glock carrying case, red carrying case, 2 mags, 1 with a pierce grip +1 extension, night sights. etc. (even the factory test rounds - unopened) - all for $200

he said he might have 1 more mag at home so we'll see about that - since i got it, i've bought a factory glock +2 extension and a ctac concealed carry holster - both came in under a week

just got the holster yesterday so i've only carried with it once - its a little different than the vm2 i have for the p226 so it'll take some getting used to

anyways, onto the pics - now i want to get a 357 sig barrell for my p226

weekdays i work a lot - i start as early as 7 and work as late as 8 - plus tax season is coming up so it's our busy season

otherwise i'd love to - i might be changing to an earlier schedule after tax season so we'll see - for now i just shoot on some weekends...i'd love to go shoot some steel though

yeah...one of those deals thats hard to pass up

now that i have my ctac adjusted properly, this gun leaves no print, even if i'm leaning over or squatting down or something (where the p226 would show a huge print or even come out from under my jacket or shirt)

why does that sound so gay?

and with the grip extension, i have 11+1

makes it seem like my 226 should carry more than 12+1

if it was from a friend of mine, i wouldnt shoot it. when his life is sorted out, he'd most likely want it back (even though he probably wouldnt say it).

be a good friend, unless he really doesnt want it anymore

The gun alone is worth a lot more then the price you paid. Your friend is going through a tough time, I'd give him some more money for everything

he's moving to europe after his divorce is final so he's selling all his guns - i just had no interest in his tec-9 or his j frame 17hmr

dude is loaded, he just needed some cash and knew i had some interest in a subcompact - his company is being sold and he's going to personally come out 1.5 million ahead - he's fine with selling me the gun for 200...i've done for him in the past and he's done for me :dunno:

which is exactly what i did - i helped him out of his bind

don't understand why people seem to be coming down on me for this - we both agreed on a price we were both happy with - he knows about guns and is aware of what it is worth - he would rather see me have it than some random person - on the same account, he is selling is tec9 to his brother and still holding onto the 17 until right before he moves to europe
