    There are lots of these type finishes out today. I think Robar NP3 was the first. I have a CZ 75sa in NP3 I don't think it's very good. It is really thin in some spots. Has pretty much wore it off the outside of the barrel. It is also really gray or what would be considered matte.

    I've seen some new finishes that are suppose to be more durable. There is a place in florida called zero fail or something like this. They had some impressive stuff at the shot show. My boss had his open gun done in some sort of teflon impreg nickel. Looks much better than my np3. No word on the durability he doesn't shoot as much as I do but it did not wear after a few matches.

    Where you want to pay attention on the glock is wear on the inside of the slide rails. That is the part I would be concerned about.

    After the 3 gun season I'm going to get my open gun done in melonite because I like black guns. It just looks proper.
