    $16 per box. My uncle and I are working on cutting the costs. We make them as fully functional reproductions. I've shot them before and they're really cool to use.

    My uncle and I make them, we nitrate paper with a solution of potassium nitrate, then form them into the proper shape and dimensions, off of scanned civil-war documents we got from the Museum of the Confederacy, then fill with blackpowder and glue to a .36 cast lead revolver bullet. One of my uncles friends makes the boxes, which are again exact replicas patterned after originals and documents obtained from the Museum. We make these, and .44 for the Colt 1849,60, ect that come in a wood block with 7 cavities drilled, 6 for the cartridges and the seventh contains 6 primers. Then this is in a similar box. Sorry but I don't have any here I can take pictures of.
