    UPS just dropped this off. I'm not going to install it till I get a new iMac sometime in October. by then my whole setup will be "N" capable

    And older laptop I presume?

    BTW, are they going to make the new n Airport cards for us G5 and G4 iBook users?

    sry, my macbook is core duo, not core 2 duo, & right now my current iMac is the G5 version with the G wireless card with 1 antenna. the new macs use 2 to 3 antenna's

    $56 from powermax.com. its the wireless card for the mac pro but it works on all the CD laptops (macbook/macbook pro) as far as I know.

    yea, but I got the first gen macbooks without the "N" capability. and no I'm not spending money just to get a faster wireless card.

    ok I'm a loser and I just did the upgrade. it was hard as hell with all the screws and such. I think the worst part was thinking I had broken the plug between the new card and the antenna. but it finnaly latched on and rescrewed everything back together. Runs pretty well and I now have "N" capability on my macbook without having to buy a new laptop. :cool:

    :cool: congrats on not fucking up your machine, the macbook is one of the hardest apple laptops to disassemble that they've made in the past ten years
