A decent long range gun... Remington 700 SPS Tactical, Harris bipod, Leupold base/rings, crappy Tasco World Class 3x9 mildot. The scope will be gone shortly. The shop didn't have any glass in that I liked/could afford right now and I needed to something to hold me over in the mean time. The scope was only $50 and I figured it would make a decent scope on my .22 or something else down the line.

Going out to shoot it tomorrow morning. This gun feels amazingly balanced for a heavy barreled gun. Even with the bipod mounted it feels pretty good offhand.

How long of a range do you plan on shooting?

Yeah .308. As for range, under 600yds mainly. Club I shoot at mostly is only out to 400. I'd like to take pot shots at the 1000yd range with it though.

I was looking at a Walther SP22M3 and various Ruger MkII's. I don't know what really ended up swinging me to the complete opposite end of the spectrum. This is the first scoped rifle I have ever owned. I never really liked using a scope, always thought of it as cheating of some sorts. Though it has always been something I have wanted to buy. Spent a little more than I wanted to but ohh well.

I did go to the range this morning and I'll post the target when I remember to get it out of my car. With Prvi Match, I shot a 2.25" group at 200yds. Not great but not bad for the 16th-20th shot out of a scoped gun for me. Especially since it is that blah Tasco scope.

just 100 yards on the sub moa, shot it all the way out to 400 yards

    200 and 250 was 4-5 " groups

300 and 400 yards was 10" steel plates no misses at 300 and after I dialed up and hit the 400 plate 3 times
