    an m4gery

S&W M&P15. I've been wanting an evil black baby killer for years now. Mainly bought it becasue of the downward spiral this country is taking. Haven't gotten to shoot it yet, told my buddy I'd wait till tomorrow to go since he wants to shoot his new 226 as well.

Not going to do much to it. Probably just an aimpoint/eotech. I don't want anything tacticool. Need to order a PMAG to see if they fit or not.

Haha, I am looking at grips and optics. But honestly I'm not a fan of railed handgaurds, so that kind of kills most of the gun rice I could buy.

I guess I need a sling too... Christ you are right, it has started

    Strong work, brother.

Is anyone else extremely pleased by the high number of "So, I bought an AR/AK" threads as of late?

I was bullshitting with the guys at the shop when I bought this. They said Obama is selling lots and lots of rifles and magazines for them right now.

I really like those. If I had the money, I totally pick up an M&P15... and probably a lower to build.

    Nice piece

I was going to keep mine completely stock, but I've already got a red dot on it (cheap POS Tasco :o) and am looking at a new grip :hs:

Well I was eyeing up a MIAD and maybe a PTR in the future. I kinda like the stock grip, it fits my hand nicely. The MIAD looks fat.

The fattest backstrap is made for man hands. You could always stick with the skinny one :mamoru:

:wtc: I have stubby man hands. It has made guitar playing and shooting fat doublestacks annoying.

Our dept doesn't issue any ARs unless your SWAT...then you get an AR and an MP5. However, if you supply your own, and qualify with it...you can carry it.

I want one REALLY bad...the funds just aren't there. And all my buddys around here are buying them, i feel sad :wtc:

Yeah, the M&P15 is a really nice rifle that everyone is really happy with so far. Our SWAT guys get ALL the toys. They have a $5m operating budget every year, just for SWAT.

    nice rifle.

i can vote for the pmags. i only have about 15 of them, but they function flawlessly. IMO they are the best polymer mags on the market.

and the miad gets another vote from me.
