Screw the 10/22. [jk, ill get a 10/22 someday for a fun semi plinker gun]

It's got the walnut stock which is why I chose this one over the Trainer/Special. Also got this because it has iron sights and I wasnt planning to buy a scope anytime soon. The woods is beautiful and the rifle is heavier than a 10/22. The trigger is AWESOME but I have a trigger kit on the way. Cost me a whole $14 shipped. It's got a ladder type sight where you can dial in how far youre shooting. It's distributed in Kansas City, KS but it's weird because I work down the street and have passed by it everyday for the past 3 years and not noticed it. Im gonna go see if it's they have a store front or if it's mainly a distribution warehouse. This set me back $363 OTD. My dealer worked with me on the price from what I found online.

Some of the pics are bluish because I had a different white balance setting.

BTW since there's been some talk about the Walther P99, I asked to see it and immediately fell in love with the ergonomics and trigger. The compact version didnt feel as good. They list it at $650 though.

I'd like CZs a lot more if the mags were flush or even blind.

Yeah, maybe this summer. I found out that there's an outdoor range 20 min from where I live that's run by the Missouri Department of Conservation and it's only $3 an hour. Ill need a scope if I want to shoot 100 yards.

Meh, I know CZs are better than 10/22s in a lot of ways, but I still prefer the 10/22. :hs:

Nice looking .22 you got there. I'm still rocking my tubular-fed marlin I bought about 5 years back. With a scope on it I could hit the primers on spent 7.62x54r surplus at 50 yards. Not much else to do with the cases, haha.

There is something inherently awesome about a nice .22 bolt-action.

What kind of scope? I may take it to the outdoor range this weekend if it's not freezing. Weather forcast predicts 37*. Is that too cold to shoot?

A POS BSA that I got on sale for $25. It was all of 4x. It died after a year of getting jostled around. I'm back to open sights, but it will smack the hell out of a soda can still!
