Nice! The first car I bought was an 86 325e... Car was a ton of fun bone stock and fetched great gas mileage.

I bought the Z28 in 1999 and drove it from 91,000 kms to 310,000 kms. Sold it in 2007.

Yeh, I wasn't sure about the 121 hp but the 170 tq makes up for it. The previous owner put a chip in it and with premium the car really isn't that slow to be honest.

It has so much gear because of the torque I can do 65 mph in 2nd gear. The car hauls ass nobody believes its only 121 hp.

Whatever, its reliable doesn't drop oil pressure (took it to TMP the very next day) and is fun as hell to drive. With sway bars it handles just like my lowered, sway bar, sub frame Z28 did.

EDIT: The car has only one rust spot and that is a small bubble on the sunroof itself. Nothing on the body, super clean. Interior needs a new dash.

    Update:

Had the car at Mosport and ate through my new lower rad hose. Jacked the car up and found the power steering bolts loose. Fixed that and put my old hose on.

This car is as reliable as the day is long. On hard switch backs or sweeping corners the oil light doesn't flicker once. For the car just being lowered it handles phenomenal. The turn in is crisp and quick and the car stays planted.

I definitely made the right decision investing in this car to race.

... all this on dead lowering springs. Amazing.
