I cant make up my mind, I went and looked at a XD9 subcompact for $489 with the gear kit with it.. the Bitone I want is $539.

I like the way it fit in my hand with the extended magazine, without the extended magazine my 2 fingers hang off the end, but I like the way it felt.

Looked at a standard Glock 19 compact $499 pinky hangs off the end which would could be fixed with mag extension, felt good in my hand too

I cant decide.. money for my 1911 is on the way..

Guy at the gun shop I told him I sold my 1911 and wanted to buy a 9mm, he said I would of kept the 1911 :squint:

Well anyway I cant decide.. I cant decide

You can get the finger extension for the XD mags. Not the extended mags but the regular ones.

The subcompact comes with a high capacity magazine with is the extended magazine, I loved the way that felt in my hand.. I dont know if a finger extension would cure 2 full finger hanging off the end of the grip, not sure i would get an accurate shot like that

I have large hands.. as I said the XD subcompact which is the size of a GLock 26 two of my fingers hang off the end, but its perfect with the extension

It did for me. I have smaller hands so grip comfort is a must. I also had a Hogue wrap grip on it and it helps a little as well.

I want to maybe eventually carry and Glock 17 seems a tad big for that

I have finally shot both...and i am more accurate with my G19. Both feel about as comfortable in my hand though.

He was half right, should stick with .45 but not in a 1911. G21/30 FTW.

I think either is good to go. if you miss the XD, get another one. I'm partial to glock but that's me.

I like the sights on the Glock and the feeling of the XD subcompact, but then again, I checked out the Glock 17 and it felt good in my hands too :noes:

    :noes:

During that first shooting session, it quickly became apparent that it is especially easy to shoot with the XD. In fact, toward the end of the match, one of my friends put away his Glock and used my XD. Despite owning a Glock for 10 years and having no prior familiarity with the XD, his shooting immediately improved. This same experience was repeated with many shooters throughout the test.

The crispness of a 1911 trigger is something that a glock can't offer plus their weird grip angle always seems odd in my hand.

probably because you own it... Beretta is a great weapon, but try to shoot as many guns as you can, its for the children!
