This is going to be one badass GP.

    Pride 185 div > UFC 185lb div
It's amazing how they turned it around so quickly.
I love GP's aswell, so much better when the structure is set.

    Fights Announced
    Makoto Takimoto vs. Gegard Mousasi
    Ryo Chonan vs. Joey Villasenor

    Other Confirmed Fighters
    Akihiro Gono
    Kazuo Misaki
    Dong Sik Yoon
    Denis Kang

Only people really missing is Henderson, Anderson and Kondo.

    My Pick to win it

Paulo Filho (seeing as he's already beat top players such as ninja and suloev).

I think it's a great lineup, but I don't like the rumoured match of Baroni vs. Fihlo :dunno:

Yeah, I'm not feeling Baroni vs. Filho.

after two matches and less than a year training mma he took Quinton the distance and didn't look that bad, he nearly got QJ with an armbar that was really really close.

    I hope he's improved.

Losses destroy people's careers. Do you think it is fair to all of the BETTER fighters who desperately train to win if a shitty fighter like dong sik get so many chances in such a successful mma organization?

it's not up to me to judge, that's why pride is unique.
I like to see fighters with potential get better with each and every fight.

Just look at nakamura, if we wrote him off on his first loss we wouldn't have seen anything more of him.

Losses only destroy peoples careers if they don't get another chance or they don't bounce back. I like the fact that pride gives chances to fighters based on potential and desire to win and entertain.

And he took QJ to a UD in his 3rd fight, for someone new to mma that's pretty damn impressive.

I think the opposite. Quinton had a pretty poor showing.
