    #1 this is for DoD employees only.
    #2 it's not new, the orig. directive is from 1992, they just updated it to go along with the DFAS employees they have been deploying to Germany, Japan and Iraq for the past god knows how many years.

    Also, if you really want to go tin foil hat, the DoD already has a civilian defense force, they are called the DLA Security Team. Armed DoD Civilian Officers

    Yeah, this is about sending civvies overseas, not about having armed military personall here to keep an eye on civ's like the original panic...

    True. Best news show I've come across. Just have to filter out the rants and occasional "blow out of proportion" stories. The rants with "evil" voices(where he imitates "them"), etc. really get on my nerves.
