i was wondering if it ever would, and for the last 5 years the answer was NO

    wtf... [IMG]

poking around in IE, a "true vector internet service has stopped" window opens - click ok to restart it, attempt to load a page, it crashes again
    ad infini

attempt to ping outside results in nuttin doin, yet i can vnc to any pc on my LAN, and they can get out

eventually uninstalled zap, still can't get out
set ip to dhcp, and *ding* back to the 'net
AH HA, i figure, so i reinstall za, get back to the desktop and everything seems faster
    cool! [IMG]

    for 10 pages... [IMG]

then, back to the same error popup

finally, i've just uninstalled it and there it is

i'll have to go do a manual uninstall to make sure i get all the bits n pieces left over though [IMG]

If you use it long enough, Zone Alarm will eventually fuck your computer.

Just use the firewall with SP2 (assuming you're running XP)
